Arc magnets are commonly used in motors for both rotors and stators but are also often used on pipes carrying liquids such as fuel, oil, water and even beer as it is thought magnetically treating liquids can illicit positive results unique to the liquid being treated. These magnets are made from a high temperature resistant grade of neodymium meaning that they can maintain their performance in temperatures up to 180 degrees Celsius.
