These magnets have an open circuit flux density of 900 Gauss Average across the surface of the poles. The flux density measured exactly in the centre of both poles of the magnet is 600 Gauss and the flux measured near the periphery of the poles is 1,200 Gauss. Each magnet can support a steel weight of up to 8 kgs.

A pack of 1 - 152.4mm x 101.4mm x 25.4mm thick Y30BH Ferrite Magnets. The NORTH pole is on one 152.4 x 101.4mm rectangular face and the SOUTH is on the opposite face. These Magnets do not require any protective plating.

These magnets will have approximately 900 Gauss on each face. Each magnet can support a steel weight of up to 8kg vertically from the magnetic face when in flush contact with a mild steel surface of equal thickness to the magnet. Each magnet can also support up to 1.6kgs in a shear position before beginning to slide down a steel surface under the same conditions. These magnets can be fixed in place using Araldite/Loctite and have a maximum operating temperature of 180 degrees C.
