These very powerful magnets are often used to magnetise drinking water. One can be used as a magnetic coaster to stand your glass upon, the deep magnetic field penetrates the water and energises it. These magnets are extremely powerful, so please read the health and safety sheet that is sent with each magnet.

A pack of 1 - 50mm x 50mm x 5mm thick N42 Neodymium Magnets. The NORTH pole is on one 50 x 50mm square face and the SOUTH is on the opposite face. These Magnets are plated with 3 layers of protective coatings - Nickel + Copper + Nickel (Ni-Cu-Ni).

These magnets will have approximately 1100 Gauss on each face. Each magnet can support a steel weight of up to 14.9kg vertically from the magnetic face when in flush contact with a mild steel surface of equal thickness to the magnet. Each magnet can also support up to 2.98kgs in a shear position before beginning to slide down a steel surface under the same conditions. These magnets can be fixed in place using Araldite/Loctite and have a maximum operating temperature of 80 degrees C.
