Magnetic Pads (commonly known as 'MagPads') are used for securing objects to magnetic surfaces. The pad comes with an M6 16mm thread with locking nut which is ready to fix. They are the preferred choice for applications involving fixing roof signs to vehicles and signs to steel surfaces. These magnets are designed to give a extremely high resistance to shear forces, whilst also exerting high magnetic performance.

A pack of 1 - 79mm x 53mm x 12mm thick Ferrite Rubber Coated Mag Pad. The NORTH pole and the SOUTH pole are in a 6 pole striped magnetic field on the 79mm x 53mm rubber coated face. These Magnets do not require any protective plating. The product also features a foam block which acts as a fixing cushion to avoid damage to surfaces for which the Magnetic Pad is bolted.

Each magnet can support a steel weight of up to 10kg vertically from the magnetic face when in flush contact with a mild steel surface of equal thickness to the magnet. Each magnet can also support up to 5kgs in a shear position before beginning to slide down a steel surface under the same conditions. These magnets are held in place by the Magnetic Face and have a maximum operating temperature of 50 degrees C. The base of our Magnetic Pads have a polurethane coating in order to prevent damage to smooth surfaces.
