- What are neodymium magnets?
- Neodymium magnets are a rare earth magnet and represent the strongest permanent magnets currently available! They are composed of neodymium, iron and boron (NdFeB).
- What are neodymium grades (N35, N40, N42, N45, N48, N50, N52)?
- Neodymium Magnets are graded by their magnetic energy, the higher the grade, the higher the magnetic energy.
- What does the magnets pull represent?
- Pulling force is a measure of magnetic strength. This quantifies how much weight (kg) the magnet can support when measured vertically from the magnet's pole when placed on an equal thickness of steel in comparison to the thickness of the magnet.
Hook & Eyebolt Clamping Magnets
High Power Neodymium Clamping Magnets with removable hooks are ideal for holding portable lighting to steelwork, holding cables off of the floor on building sites and provide a temporary or permanent hanging point on any steel surface. The smaller sizes are often used in supermarkets to hold promotional signs that are suspended on wires attached to the magnets which are attracted and held to metal ceilings.
The range consists of 6 magnets from 16mm dia - 60mm dia and with a vertical holding capacity from 5 - 113kgs!
The steel hook can be removed and the threaded collar can be used to accept a steel screw or bolt.
These magnets are only magnetic on their bases and because the ultra strong neodymium magnet is secured inside a strong steel shell, they can be continually clamped onto steel surfaces without cracking or chipping.

These hook magnets come with a white powder coated finish. These hook magnets provide a good pulling force and are great value for money.
Supersoft hook magnets coated in a protective silicone rubber caoting. These have an insreased side grip and will not damage the surface they are being mounted on.
