Each magnet comes assembled with a heavy duty eyebolt that can easily accommodate a thick lifting robe or cable. An added advantage of pot magnets is that they are resistant to chipping or cracking following constant impact with a steel surface. These extra-large Neodymium pot magnets are made of a Neodymium magnet encased in a stainless steel shell. The shell is completely sealed providing the maximum resistance to corrosion making these magnets ideal for recovering items from water. Each magnet generates an incredibly large field depth meaning it can lift up to 130kg in weight when in direct contact with a mild steel surface of at least 10mm thickness and even has an impressive pulling force even over distances of 50mm. Each magnet is supplied already assembled with a M14 eyebolt that can easily accommodate thick lifting rope or cable. If required the eyebolt can be removed allowing the magnet to be bolted in place using an M12 (or smaller) bolt with a maximum 16mm diameter head. Gave this to my Dad for his birthday recently, he loves it...the plan is to use it for fishing the local waterways for interesting old items to research and or recycle...apparently he watched a programme recently where someone had adopted this method.
