{"id":1048,"date":"2020-12-16T11:06:40","date_gmt":"2020-12-16T11:06:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.first4magnets.com\/news\/?p=1048"},"modified":"2024-09-26T09:28:03","modified_gmt":"2024-09-26T09:28:03","slug":"the-results-are-in-magnet-expert-ltd-win-three-awards-at-the-newark-business-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.first4magnets.com\/blog\/the-results-are-in-magnet-expert-ltd-win-three-awards-at-the-newark-business-awards\/","title":{"rendered":"The results are in\u2026 Magnet Expert Ltd. win THREE awards at the Newark Business Awards!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.first4magnets.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/NBA-Image4.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1063\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The results are in\u2026 Magnet Expert Ltd. win THREE awards at the Newark Business Awards!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Friday\n11th December saw the commencement of the Newark Business Awards in which\nMagnet Expert was nominated for three awards:\nLarge Business of the Year, Employer of the Year and an individual award for our Managing Director,\nMatthew, as Businessperson of the Year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The award for&nbsp;<em>Large Business of the Year<\/em>&nbsp;looks\nat those that demonstrate business excellence and leadership, commitment to the\nlocal community, and proven success with strategy to pave the way for further\nbusiness growth.<br>\n<br>\nThe&nbsp;<em>Employer of the year&nbsp;<\/em>award is for those businesses who\ndemonstrate their leadership and human resource policies to support their staff\non their development and creating a satisfactory and positive workplace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<em>Businessperson of the Year<\/em>&nbsp;award\nis designed to recognise individuals that have made outstanding contributions\nwhich have allowed them to stand out from the crowd, paired with\nentrepreneurial spirit and the ability to inspire others around them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.first4magnets.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/NBA-Image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1049\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The awards dinner was originally meant to take place in\nJune but was unfortunately postponed due to the pandemic. Instead, a virtual\nceremony took place, hosted by Collab \u2013 a virtual event and office platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019d like to congratulate all finalists that made it through to the awards evening. We are also delighted to announce that Magnet Expert <strong>won<\/strong> the two categories which we were nominated for;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Large Business of the Year <\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Employer of the Year <\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>What\u2019s more, Matthew was the winner of the <strong>Businessperson of the year <\/strong>award! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are some words from Matthew\u2026<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-vivid-red-color\"><em>\u201cI am incredibly honoured to have won Businessperson of the Year 2020 at the Newark Business Awards, sponsored and presented by <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/ACoAABAbrdMBCfylpBT4Zu6rhcmsiIRTSG6l064\"><strong><em>Kerri McGarrigle<\/em><\/strong><\/a><em>&nbsp;of Newark Business Club.<br><br>The recognition means so much given the personal and professional challenges we have all faced this year. I\u2019m so proud of <\/em><strong><em>Magnet Expert Ltd<\/em><\/strong><em>&nbsp;and the team, and how we\u2019re pushing the industry forward.<br><br>The evening was a constant whirlwind with the business also winning two awards Large Business of the Year and Employer of the Year.<br><br>We\u2019ve taken a small, humble business to an international operation, now regarded as a market leader. We\u2019re so grateful for the support we\u2019ve received from our customers and partners.<br><br>Can\u2019t help but look forward to the New Year and the exciting plans we\u2019re working on!\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was certainly a night the team and Matthew will remember for a long time.
