The process differs at step three, where we will pick up here:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns has-2-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#ffffff\">.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-vivid-red-color has-text-color has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Step 3 &#8211; Sintered<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">As an alternative to bonding the alloy particles using a binding chemical, the powder is pressed into a die and sintered at a temperature up to 1250\u02daC, fusing the powder into a solid. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">The sintered material is then given a solution treatment at similar temperatures before being tempered between 700\u02daC and 900\u02daC, and then cooled in the presence of an externally applied magnetic field.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure machining and grinding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Unlike the bonded form, a level of grinding and finishing is required and must be done using water-cooled diamond-coated grinding machinery as the material is very hard and brittle and the dust produced highly flammable. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img
