We always appreciate our customers getting in touch to show us then creative way they are using our magnets, and one customer has shown us their home-made calendar using our magnets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steve began with a 9mm piece of ply and a 0.75mmm thick\npiece of steel, 800mm x 500mm in size. The calendar template was simply printed\nfrom his PC and covered in plastic before being stuck to the steel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now with a calendar template Steve was able to use some 11.5\naluminium strips for the days of the month which are held on using five magnets\neach. Steve has also used the magnets to hold on the months and events\nthroughout the year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He has also painted some magnets green and red to denote his\ndays off and holidays. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This calendar idea has been brought to life using our 10m x 3mm Y10 Ferrite Magnets.<\/a> These ferrite disc magnets, also known as ceramic magnets, are magnetised with a striped north-south polarity which focuses the magnetism on one face. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ferrite magnets have a high resistance to corrosion and demagnetisation and their great advantage is that they can operate in temperatures of up to 180 degrees Celsius. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
