These small samarium cobalt disc magnets are some of the smallest in our range. When used to attract another magnet, rather than a metal surface such as steel the pull strength between the two magnets will be effectively double creating an incredible pull for their size. Samarium cobalt magnets do not require any additional protective plating and can operate in temperatures up to 300oC meaning they are commonly used in the manufacturing industry. They are also often used in creative applications, packaging and engineering where small size and high operating temperatures are required.
