Or maybe you have started to think of a way to adapt an idea? Well one customer, Steven, saw an issue and immediately knew how magnets could provide the solution.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Having gone to his brother-in-law\u2019s house for a family party, Steven used the bottle opener fitted to the kitchen wall and noticed the quick reactions needed to catch the bottle cap or the need to pick it up off the floor each time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Immediately, Steven had an idea and got to work creating his own wall-mounted bottle opener, and the key difference was the introduction of magnets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Having made his wooden frames Steven routed out a hole in the back of the frames to take the rare earth magnet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Using our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.first4magnets.com\/us\/rectangular-c35\/40-x-20-x-5mm-thick-ultra-high-performance-n52-grade-neodymium-magnet-15-1kg-pull-p3794#ps_0_3970|ps_1_1837\">Neodymium Magnets<\/a>\u00a0held in place with a generous helping of hot glue, Steven had created a bottle opener that would catch every cap after opening a bottle.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.first4magnets.com\/us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/4.png\" alt=\"DIY Magnetic Bottle Opener\" class=\"wp-image-1022\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The benefit of using Neodymium magnets was their super-strong performance, which would provide attraction through the back of the wood to catch the caps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Steven made 5 bottle openers to give out as gifts and was pleased to hear back from his dad who has so far got the magnet to hold 22 bottle caps at once!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We would like to thank Steven for getting in touch and sharing his story, this is Steven\u2019s second featured application and we can\u2019t wait to see his next creation.
