Each week we receive a number of inquiries from enthusiasts across Europe wanting to integrate magnets into their home model kits.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This week we received an email from Richard in Hertfordshire who wanted to share with us how he had used our magnets in his latest model airplane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.first4magnets.com\/us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/57924-11.jpg\" alt=\"Model Airplane Magnets \u2013 Cowl Magnets\" class=\"wp-image-1653\" width=\"500\" height=\"264\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Richard purchased 2 packs of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.first4magnets.com\/us\/circular-disc-rod-c34\/n42-neodymium-magnet-10mm-dia-x-1mm-thick-1-27lbs-pull-p2818#ps_0_2845|ps_1_936\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">10mm diameter circular disc magnets<\/a> to form an integral part of his plane&#8217;s design. When Richard contacted us he explained that the cowl (nose) of the airplane was attached to the airplane body using four screws. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Richard wanted to modify this by removing the need for screws and replacing them with circular disc magnets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Removing the screws from the cowl enhanced the plane&#8217;s external appearance and easily allowed access to the electric motor, speed control, and batteries.
