Our customer Bjarni contacted us from Iceland to tell us how his father builds Icelandic Ribbon Microphones.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.first4magnets.com\/us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/51289-11.jpg\" alt=\"Microphone\" class=\"wp-image-918\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Useful fact:<\/strong>\u00a0Our high-quality Neodymium magnets produce magnetic fields which cut through the coil inside the microphone and as the coil moves back and forth through the magnetic field generated by the magnet, it creates an electric current that allows the sound waves to travel to your amplifier or headphones.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bjarni uses power neodymium magnets in the building of microphones. These small but very powerful magnets allow less space to be taken up in the body of the microphone.
