Looking after your tools is important, they are a man\u2019s best friend when it comes to DIY and could you imagine anything worse than losing, misplacing or potentially breaking your best friend. Well, Gavin couldn\u2019t and has got in touch to show us how he is safely and correctly storing his tools using magnets.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having purchased some thin steel precision rulers from INCRA\nPrecision Tools, Gavin decided due to their thin metal structure, to keep them safe,\nit would be sensible to create a storage box for each ruler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After creating the wooden cases, Gavin decided to add our 4mm dia x 3mm thick N42 Neodymium Magnet with 0.54kg Pull<\/a> to his storage box, the small but strong magnets are ideal for model-making, crafts and many other applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Using the small high-performance Neodymium magnets Gavin has been able to securely hold each ruler whilst also creating a secure way of opening and closing each case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
