{"id":976,"date":"2022-02-12T11:20:40","date_gmt":"2022-02-12T11:20:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.first4magnets.com\/us\/applications\/?p=976"},"modified":"2025-03-24T10:21:25","modified_gmt":"2025-03-24T10:21:25","slug":"covering-a-hole-using-flexible-magnets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.first4magnets.com\/us\/blog\/covering-a-hole-using-flexible-magnets\/","title":{"rendered":"Covering a Hole Using Flexible Magnets"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Magnets offer a range of solutions, and we constantly hear of the extraordinary things which our customers plan to use our magnets for, and we love nothing more than to hear back from our customers and see exactly how our products have been used!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One customer, Maureen Edwards, has been kind enough to send some images of how exactly she used our&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.first4magnets.com\/us\/ferrous-magnetic-sheets-tapes-t174\">FerroFlex self-adhesive tape<\/a>&nbsp;and a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.first4magnets.com\/us\/large-metre-sheet-c82\/magflex-a3-flexible-magnetic-sheet-gloss-white-p11792#ps_0_12471|ps_1_13086\">MagFlex\u00ae A3 flexible magnetic sheet<\/a>&nbsp;to amend the opening underneath her boiler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Having used the adhesive backing on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.first4magnets.com\/us\/tape-strip-c85\/ferroflex-12-5mm-wide-ferrous-strip-3m-self-adhesive-gloss-white-p3796#ps_0_3972|ps_1_1931\">FerroFlex\u00ae self-adhesive tape<\/a>, Maureen has cut two strips at either end of the hole and one long strip across the bottom creating a magnetic surface around the entire area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.first4magnets.com\/us\/ferrous-magnetic-sheets-tapes-t174\">FerroFlex\u00ae<\/a>&nbsp;ferrous tapes are not magnets, but they are perfect for creating an instant surface that magnets will attract to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the tape creating a magnetic surface around the hole Maureen has been able to simply use one&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.first4magnets.com\/us\/large-metre-sheet-c82\/magflex-a3-flexible-magnetic-sheet-gloss-white-p11792#ps_0_12471|ps_1_13086\">MagFlex\u00ae A3 flexible magnetic sheet<\/a>&nbsp;to stick over the hole, meaning it can be covered at all times but all the important controls for the boiler can be easily accessed when required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.first4magnets.com\/us\/magflex\">MagFlex\u00ae<\/a>\u00a0flexible magnetic sheet is magnetic on one side only<br>and can easily be cut to size.
