These high-performance N42 neodymium arc magnets are specifically shaped for use in motors, generators and other applications requiring magnets to be positioned around a circular rotor or stator.

Each magnet measures 25mm high and 4mm thick, with a 37.5mm outside radius and 33.5mm inner radius. The curved profile allows multiple magnets to be arranged around a circular assembly, making them suitable for motor development, generator systems, rotors, stators, engineering projects, prototypes and custom magnetic assemblies.

Available with either the north or south pole on the inner radius, the two polarity options can be used together to create alternating-pole configurations. Four north-inner-radius magnets combined with four south-inner-radius magnets can be arranged to create a complete 360° 8-pole magnetic ring. For a complete 360° 8-pole arrangement, use four magnets with the north pole on the inner radius and four with the south pole on the inner radius.

Manufactured from high-performance N42 grade neodymium, each magnet produces a strong magnetic field despite its compact 4mm thickness. The magnets have an anisotropic alignment and a maximum operating temperature of 80°C.

Each magnet is finished with a three-layer nickel-copper-nickel (Ni-Cu-Ni) coating, providing a smooth, clean surface and helping protect the neodymium material against corrosion.
