These thin rectangular Neodymium magnets are axially magnetised between the two 6mm x 4mm rectangle faces and provide a maximum pull of 1.65lbs. Every magnet has a triple coating of nickel, copper and nickel again to prevent against corrosion. Our Neodymium magnets have many creative uses including model-making, theatre design, furniture making, exhibitions, retail displays and packaging. They also have many uses in engineering and manufacturing where small size and maximum strength are required. What's more, because of their resistance to demagnetisation they are ideal for creating a shock-absorbing or damping effect when used to repel other magnets.

Small, but quite versatile.

An excellent, small magnet which makes an excellent "catch" that holds very well but even magnet-magnet connections are fairly easy to separate. You would not want a stronger pull to hold a small box (for example) closed. The metal surfaces bond reasonably well (with superglue) to wood and mdf but it is best to use a "flexible" superglue as the magnets snap together quite sharply.
