  • 42mm x 8mm x 10mm.
  • 1.65 in. x 0.32 in. x 0.39 in.
  • +/-0.1mm (0.0004 in.) tolerance.
  • Each magnet's north and south pole are on opposite 42mm (1.65 in.) x 8mm (0.32 in.) faces.
  • Each magnet can support a steel weight of up to 14kg (30.87lbs) vertically from the magnetic face when in flush contact with a mild steel surface.
  • Excellent resistance to demagnetisation.
  • Coated with three layers of nickel, copper and nickel to reduce corrosion and provide a smooth finish.

These small rectangular Neodymium magnets are axially magnetised between the two 42mm (1.65 in.) x 8mm (0.31 in.) rectangular faces and provide a maximum pull of 14kg (30.87lbs). Every magnet has a triple coating of nickel, copper and nickel again to prevent against corrosion. Our Neodymium magnets are commonly used in creative applications such as models and theatre design, furniture making, exhibition stands and packaging. They also have many uses in engineering and manufacturing where small size and maximum strength are required. What's more, because of their resistance to demagnetisation they are ideal for creating a shock-absorbing or damping effect when used to repel other magnets.

Magnets worked a treat

Magnets worked a treat. I use a seat magnet on a sculling boat to tell the speed (with a reed switch). A change in the set up of the boat moved the magnet 5mm further away and stopped the kit working.

For months I have been trying all sorts of solutions,"

Unbelievable!

Been trying to make a nice small alternator for my 1/3 scale steam wagon. Used four of these magnets on the rotor and finally got results without having to wind thousands of turns for the stator! Unbelievable gauss figures for something so small!!
