High Temperature Rectangular Magnets

Some permanent magnetic materials are more susceptible to high temperatures than others. Here you will find a wide range of rectangular samarium cobalt, Ceramic and high temperature grade neodymium magnets that all have high maximum operating temperatures, making them ideal for use in demanding applications. Each type of magnetic material and grade of magnetic material will have its own maximum operating temperature so it is important to take note of this in each product's technical specifications table. If a permanent magnet is heated above its maximum operating temperature it will begin to lose its magnetism. Depending on the temperature reached the magnet may regain some or all of its magnetism on cooling, or, if it is heated further the damage will be irreversible.
