Samarium Cobalt Rod Magnets

The rod magnets in this section are made from the rare earth magnetic material samarium cobalt. Samarium cobalt is the second strongest magnetic material behind neodymium and while not quite as strong has neodymium they are much more resistant to corrosion and have much higher maximum operating temperatures. Some of the rod magnets below are supplied in their uncoated fun while some are finished with a triple coating of nickel, copper and nickel.
