These medium-sized clamping magnets provide an astonishing 36.4kg clamping force for their size. The Neodymium magnets are sunken in to a steel shell meaning that the north pole is on the centre of the magnetic face and the south pole is on the outer edge around it. The steel pot increases the adhesive force of the magnets giving them an incredible hold for their size. An added advantage of these magnets is that they are resistant to chipping or cracking following constant impact with a steel surface.

Well worth the price

I wanted to lift a Cast Iron manhole cover which weighed 17.5 kg.
When the magnet arrived I was surpised how small it was.
As the cover did not have a flat surface I had been advised to buy two magnets which would give an even pull. Good advice.
One magnet did lift the end of the cover but as the magnet was not in complete contact with the plate, it was much safer to use the two.

Standard of finish: Excellant.

Delivery: Excellant
