Frequently Asked Questions
Are the magnetic work lights waterproof?
Several models in the range carry IPX4 rating or higher, making them resistant to water splashing from any direction; suitable for outdoor and on-site use. Check the individual product page for the IP rating of each model.
Do the magnetic bases work on stainless steel?
The magnetic bases are designed for ferromagnetic metals; mild steel and iron surfaces. They will not adhere to non-ferrous metals such as aluminium or stainless steel (which is non-magnetic). For aluminium surfaces, use the hanger or stand options within the range.
How long does the battery last?
Battery life varies by model and brightness mode. All lights in the range are rechargeable via USB-C.
What is the difference between lumen output modes?
Most models in the range offer two or three brightness modes; typically a high mode (maximum lumens), a medium mode (balanced brightness and battery life), and a low mode. Use high mode for detailed inspection work and medium mode for general ambient illumination to extend battery life.
