  • 10mm diameter x 5mm thick with a M3 threaded stud for fixing.
  • +/-0.1mm tolerance.
  • 10mm Thread Length.
  • Each magnet is only magnetic on the flat face.
  • Each magnet can support 2.19kg pull vertically from the magnetic face when in flush contact with a mild steel surface of equal thickness.
  • Maximum operating temperature of 300 degrees Celsuis.

Samarium cobalt pot magnets are made of a powerful rare-earth magnetic material sunken in to a nickle plated mild steel shell meaning that the north pole is on the centre of the magnetic face and the south pole is on the outer edge around it. The steel pot increases the adhesive force of the magnets giving them an incredible hold for their size. An added advantage of pot magnets is that they are resistant to chipping or cracking following constant impact with a steel surface. These magnets have an M3 threaded stud on the non-magnetic face; pot magnets are also available with countersinks and counter-bored holes. What's more, because they are made from samarium cobalt, they have a high maximum operating temperature being able to withstand temperatures up to 300 degrees Celsius.
