- Switchable release mechanism with safety lock to prevent accidental release
- Each magnet can support a steel weight of up to 100kg vertically from the magnetic face when in flush contact with a mild steel surface of equal thickness
Operated by a simple handle switch release mechanism, this switchable magnet is ideal for moving steel parts around a manufacturing environment and releasing up to 300kgs clamping force as part of a quick release clamping system. The safe working load for this assembly is 100kg on clean and flat steel of 20mm thickness and 50kgs on a round bar of steel, however, it has been tested to lift up to 300kg in an ideal environment. As this magnet is compact and relatively light at 3kg it is easily portable, an ideal addition to any workshop.
