These rubber coated N42 magnets are designed to support the maximum amount of weight possible in a shear position by increasing the amount of friction against a ferrous material. The magnet's rubber coating makes it ideal for attracting to fragile or easily marked surfaces because it softens impacts and prevents marking. With the Neodymium magnet covered by the outer rubber, it makes it unsusceptible to water corrosion.
