Combining powerful magnetic performance with a slim 5mm profile, this N42 neodymium disc magnet is a versatile choice for engineering, manufacturing, product design and a wide range of custom magnetic applications.
Measuring 35mm in diameter and just 5mm thick, each magnet provides up to 13.6kg of pull force when in direct contact with a suitable steel surface. Its relatively large magnetic face and slim profile make it particularly useful where strong magnetic attraction is required without the depth of a larger magnet or magnetic assembly.
The north and south poles are located on the opposite 35mm diameter faces, allowing the magnets to be used for attraction to ferrous surfaces or in magnet-to-magnet applications.
Manufactured from high-performance N42 grade neodymium, the magnet offers excellent resistance to demagnetisation and is capable of operating at temperatures up to 80°C.Each magnet is protected by a triple-layer nickel-copper-nickel (Ni-Cu-Ni) coating, providing a smooth, clean finish and improved resistance to corrosion.
For permanent installation, the flat disc shape also makes the magnet suitable for bonding into recesses, components and custom assemblies using an appropriate adhesive.
