Please note, the listed pull strength is based on the electromagnet being in direct contact with a steel or ferrous surface that is equal in thickness to the magnet itself.

This compact 12V DC energise-to-hold electromagnet provides up to 27kg of controllable magnetic holding force, making it a versatile solution for automation, machinery and engineering applications.

When connected to a 12V DC power supply, the electromagnet generates a strong magnetic field to attract and securely hold suitable steel and ferrous components. When the power is switched off, the magnetic field disappears, allowing the held component to be released quickly and easily.

Measuring just 44.45mm in diameter and 41.28mm thick, its compact cylindrical design provides a strong magnetic hold from a relatively small footprint, making it well suited to integration into machinery, automated equipment, robotic systems, production fixtures and custom assemblies.

A 1/4-20 UNC threaded mounting hole on the reverse provides a convenient fixing point for secure installation. Manufactured from zinc-plated mild steel, the electromagnet offers a durable finish suitable for a wide range of engineering and industrial environments.

Operating from 12V DC with a low 3.3W power requirement, the electromagnet is supplied with approximately 610mm of connecting wire for connection to a suitable DC power source.

Please note: A suitable 12V DC power supply is required and is not included. The stated 27kg safe working limit is achieved under optimum conditions in a vertical direct pull when the electromagnet is in full contact with a suitable steel or ferrous surface equal in thickness to the electromagnet. Actual holding performance can be affected by material type and thickness, surface condition, air gaps and the direction of the applied load.
