- Each magnet has a vertical pull of 0.054kg when in direct contact with a mild steel surface of equal thickness
- Each magnet’s north and south pole are on opposite 5mm diameter faces
- Each magnet can support a steel weight of up to 0.054kg vertically from the magnetic face when in flush contact with a mild steel surface.
- Resistant to demagnetisation without any extra coating
- Maintains magnetism in temperatures up to 180 degrees Celsius
Also known as ceramic magnets, ferrite magnets offer excellent value for money when pull strength is not the most important factor. These magnets are made from a high-temperature material which can operate in temperatures up to 180 degrees Celsius. Because these magnets are weakly magnetised they are not suitable for weight-bearing applications, but instead are commonly used in sensors and other similar applications.
