This powerful 24V DC energise-to-release electromagnet provides up to 60kg of magnetic holding force without requiring continuous electrical power, making it ideal for industrial automation, access control and engineering applications.
Unlike an energise-to-hold electromagnet, this unit incorporates a permanent magnet that provides its holding force when no power is applied. When 24V DC power is supplied, the electromagnetic field counteracts the permanent magnetic field, reducing the external magnetic hold and allowing the attached ferrous component to be released.Because power is only required when the magnetic hold needs to be released, this electromagnet is particularly suited to applications where components need to remain securely held for extended periods and released on demand.
Measuring 60mm in diameter and 45mm thick, its robust cylindrical design combines strong holding performance with a compact footprint for integration into machinery, automated equipment, access control systems and custom engineering assemblies.
An M5 threaded mounting hole on the reverse provides a convenient fixing point for secure installation. The iron body features a bright nickel finish, providing a durable and clean surface suitable for demanding engineering and industrial environments.
