Operated by a simple toggle switch, switchable magnets are ideal for quick-release jigs, fixings and lifting applications where it is necessary to be able to turn magnetism on and off. Perfect for industrial environments each magnet can lift a steel weight of up to 70kg when in flush contact with a mild steel surface at least 6mm thick. If more holding force is required, a number of these switchable magnets can be used together. Each switchable magnet has an M8 threaded mounting hole.
