This powerful 12V DC energise-to-hold electromagnet provides up to 91kg of controllable magnetic holding force, making it an excellent choice for demanding industrial, automation and engineering applications.
When connected to a 12V DC power supply, the electromagnet generates a strong magnetic field that securely attracts suitable steel and ferrous components. When the power is switched off, the magnetic field disappears, allowing the component to be released quickly and easily.
Measuring 63.5mm x 38.1mm x 31.75mm, the compact rectangular design combines substantial holding performance with a relatively small footprint, making it suitable for integration into machinery, automated systems, handling equipment and custom assemblies.
A 10-32 UNC threaded mounting hole on the reverse provides a convenient fixing point for installation, while the zinc-plated mild steel construction provides a durable finish. Operating from 12V DC with a power requirement of just 5W, the electromagnet is supplied with approximately 630mm of connecting wire for connection to a suitable power source.
Please note: A suitable 12V DC power supply is required and is not included. The stated 91kg safe working limit applies when the electromagnet is in direct vertical contact with a suitable steel or ferrous surface equal in thickness to the electromagnet. Actual holding performance can be affected by material type and thickness, surface condition, air gaps and the direction of the applied load.
