This powerful 12V DC energise-to-hold electromagnet provides up to 226kg of controllable magnetic holding force, making it ideal for demanding industrial, automation and engineering applications.
When connected to a 12V DC power supply, the electromagnet generates a strong magnetic field to securely attract and hold suitable steel and ferrous components. When the power is switched off, the magnetic field disappears, allowing the held component to be released quickly and easily.
Measuring 76.2mm in diameter and 50.8mm thick, this electromagnet combines substantial holding performance with a compact circular design that can be integrated into machinery, automated systems, handling equipment and custom assemblies.
A 1/4-20 UNC threaded mounting hole on the reverse provides a convenient fixing point for installation. The durable zinc-plated mild steel body is designed for engineering and industrial environments, while 12V DC operation makes the electromagnet suitable for integration into a wide range of electrically controlled systems.
Please note: A suitable 12V DC power supply is required and is not included. The stated 226kg safe working limit is achieved under optimum conditions in a vertical direct pull when the electromagnet is in full contact with a suitable steel or ferrous surface equal in thickness to the electromagnet. Actual holding performance can be affected by material type and thickness, surface condition, air gaps and the direction of the applied load.
