This heavy-duty 12V DC energise-to-hold electromagnet provides up to 567kg of controllable magnetic holding force, making it a powerful solution for demanding industrial, manufacturing and engineering applications.
When connected to a 12V DC power supply, the electromagnet generates a powerful magnetic field to securely attract and hold suitable steel and ferrous components. When the power is switched off, the magnetic field disappears, allowing the held component to be released on demand.
Measuring 152.4mm x 76.2mm x 50.8mm, its robust rectangular design combines high holding performance with a practical footprint for integration into machinery, automated systems, material handling equipment, production fixtures and custom engineering assemblies.
A 3/8-16 UNC threaded mounting hole on the reverse provides a convenient fixing point for secure installation. The electromagnet is manufactured from zinc-plated mild steel for a durable finish and operates from a 12V DC power supply with a 37W power requirement.
The electromagnet is supplied with approximately 580mm of connecting wire for connection to a suitable 12V DC power source.
Please note: A suitable 12V DC power supply is required and is not included. The stated 567kg safe working limit is achieved under optimum conditions in a vertical direct pull when the electromagnet is in full contact with a suitable steel or ferrous surface equal in thickness to the electromagnet. Actual holding performance can be affected by material type and thickness, surface condition, air gaps and the direction of the applied load.
