This powerful 24V DC energise-to-release electromagnet provides up to 80kg of magnetic holding force without requiring continuous electrical power, making it ideal for demanding industrial, automation and engineering applications.
Unlike an energise-to-hold electromagnet, this unit uses an internal permanent magnet to provide its holding force when no power is applied. Applying 24V DC power counteracts the permanent magnetic field, reducing the external magnetic hold and allowing the attached ferrous component to be released.Because power is only required to release the magnetic hold, this electromagnet is particularly suited to applications where components need to remain securely held for extended periods and released on demand.
