A heat gun is an indispensable tool in car wrapping for stretching vinyl around curves, contours and edges of vehicles. Heat can also help activate the adhesive on the back of the vinyl wrap, allowing it to bond securely to the vehicle's surface.
After the vinyl has been applied, a heat gun is used to post-heat the surface. Post-heating helps the vinyl conform more tightly to the contours of the vehicle, eliminating any remaining wrinkles or bubbles and ensuring a professional-quality finish.
In the event of wrinkles, bubbles, or imperfections during the wrapping process, a heat gun can be used to gently heat the affected area and smooth out the vinyl. This helps achieve a flawless finish and improves the overall appearance of the wrap.
Please note, when turning off the heat gun there is a power-down process which includes a 10 second countdown and may result in increased fan noise.
