Combining powerful magnetic performance with excellent temperature and corrosion resistance, this heavy-duty Alnico horseshoe magnet is designed for demanding engineering, manufacturing, testing and specialist applications.

Measuring 70mm x 41mm x 57mm, the magnet provides up to 37kg of pull force under optimum conditions. Its traditional horseshoe design positions the north and south poles at the two opposite ends, creating two clearly defined magnetic poles that can be used for attraction, testing, experimentation and custom magnetic assemblies.

Manufactured from Alnico, the magnet is particularly well suited to demanding environments where temperature resistance is important. It can operate at temperatures up to 500°C and also offers excellent resistance to corrosion, making it suitable for applications where many conventional permanent magnets may not be appropriate.

Two 8mm diameter holes provide convenient mounting points, allowing the magnet to be securely incorporated into equipment, fixtures, test rigs and custom assemblies.

The distinctive red epoxy-painted body provides additional surface protection while leaving the magnetic pole faces exposed at either end of the horseshoe.
