Wind Turbines & Generators Circular Disc Magnets

Strong magnets are an integral part of every wind turbine and are used to generate electricity via electromagnetic induction. The disc magnets in this section are used within generators to produce electrical voltage. Most simply, these magnets will commonly be attached to the end of a shaft which is turned by the movement of the blades. The magnet then turns relative to an assembly of coiled wire which generates an electric voltage within the coiled wire.
